Proxy settings also have no effect on the latest "Torronsuo" release (3.2.0.12). No application seems to use a proxy. The browser can be configured to use it though.

It seems that the proxy setting are not applied again in 3.0.1.11 (Sipoonkorpi). Worked just fine in the previous version.

It seems to be a bug in the 'connection checker' which determines if there is an internet connection or not. The Browser is the only app that ignores this status as it needs to be used for captive...

At our company we have to use the proxy for internet connection. So the proxy settings are interessting for all apps and not only the browser!
